- Participer aux réunions de l'EDC pour définir et partager collectivement les meilleures pratiques dans toutes les régions
- Collaborer avec les autres directrices et directeurs généraux régionaux et avec les responsables de fonctions des Amériques afin de réaliser notre stratégie collective pour les Amériques
- Diriger le programme de sécurité axée sur le comportement dans la région
- Fournir à l'EDC des rapports mensuels sur les ICR accompagnés de mesures correctives, s'il y a lieu
- Préparer et soumettre à la directrice ou au directeur général exécutif (DGE) du Canada des rapports et des propositions d'expansion ou d'investissements importants
- Gérer les coûts opérationnels et administratifs conformément aux indicateurs établis par la région économique ou par l'entreprise
- Réviser et participer à la préparation de documents essentiels au rendement continu de la région (notamment l'évaluation de la réponse aux appels d'offres par le processus Go/No Go)
- Signaler et aborder tout problème inhabituel avec le ou la DGE et avec l'EDC
- Préparer le plan d'affaires régional et en faire le suivi et la mise à jour annuelle
- Élaborer des propositions d'expansion, p. ex. nominations à des postes supérieurs, acquisitions locales conformément à la stratégie actuelle de GHD et au plan d'affaires régional
- Examiner et mettre en œuvre les stratégies de marché et les plans de marché régionaux pour le développement des affaires
- Participer à des rencontres de suivi avec les clients et assister aux conférences stratégiques de l'industrie dans toute la région
- Définir et soumettre des propositions de nominations stratégiques pour le personnel de haute direction et les actionnaires-dirigeants et actionnaires-dirigeantes
- Planifier la relève et définir les plans de développement pour les postes clés dans la région
- Maintenir les liens avec la direction et le personnel de la région en visitant les neuf bureaux régionaux, avec une présence plus importante dans la région du Grand Montréal

- Lead the behavior-based safety program in the region
- Provide monthly KPI report to Canada Leadership Team together with any required corrective actions
- Prepare and submit to the Executive General Manager, Canada (EGM) any relevant reports and significant investment/expansion proposals
- Manage overhead/operational costs in accordance with the metrics set by the Economic Region/Enterprise
- Review and participate in the preparation of key submissions that are critical for the ongoing performance of the Region (including Go/No Go review)
- Flag and discuss any abnormal issues with EGM/CALT
- Develop, monitor and update annually the Region Business Plan
- Develop proposals for expansion . senior appointments, local acquisitions in consideration of current GHD Strategy and regional business plan
- Review and implement Market Strategies and Regional Market plans for business development
- Participate in client care visits and be present in industry strategic conferences across the region
- Identify and submit proposals for strategic appointments and executive/principal level staff
- Identification of succession pipelines and development plans in place for key roles in the region
- Connect with local leadership and employees by visiting all nine regional offices in the region with greater presence in the Greater Montreal area
