THE OPPORTUNITY AWAITS YOU
We are looking for customer focused individuals interested in casual work based on your own availability Shift start and end times vary based on operational requirements.
Serving as the first point of contact on visitors and guests to the campus, the Guest Services Representative will be expected to greet and assist visitors, answers questions, provide direction and appropriate information.
Situated in some of the campus' highest traffic areas, the Guest Service Representative also assists guests and staff with event-related calls, incident resolution, events, and general concerns.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Present a positive and professional image to all guests, suppliers, inquiries, and other persons.
- Troubleshooting and/or escalating guest issues as required.
- Proactively address guest needs by answering questions, giving directions and other information regarding the campus and surrounding areas. Never avoiding a guest or leaving a question unanswered.
- Performing other duties as allocated.

- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in guests/customer service in forwardfacing industries is considered an asset.
- Experience in cash handling and basic accounting procedures.
- Working knowledge of computers and must be comfortable with Excel; Proficient typing skills
- Ability to work conscientiously with mínimal supervision in a fastpaced environment where there are often multiple demands.
- Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check for the duration of employment.
- Note that this position is an inscope position under the RWDSU Collective Agreement.
