    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    Job Summary:
    The Associate Director reports to theChild Development Lab Director and serves as a backup in the Director\'sabsence.

    The Associate Director is responsible for assisting with theday-to-day operations including staff scheduling, providing leadershipin designated project management tasks, assists with budget developmentand oversight, assists with purchasing, payments, and tuition accountbilling, ensures licensing and accreditation standards are consistentlymet, regularly assists with reviewing and writing new and updatedpolicies and procedures to align with current standards.

    The AssociateDirector assists with the coordination of daily operational needs of theCDL program, and program and scheduling needs of outside stakeholderssuch as research.

    The Associate Director supervises float teachers andstudent hourly employees. The Associate Director provides tours andenrolls new families, assists with program communication and familyactivities.

    The Associate Director actively contributes to the decisionsof the Administrative Team and assists the CDL Director to meet theCDL\'s overall strategic goals, mission, and vision.

    This position isresponsible for staff scheduling which includes arranging for staffingcoverage when staff call off. This may occur during nights and weekends.

    Additionally, this position may be required to attend professionaldevelopment trainings and/or other CDL community wide events that mayoccur on nights or weekend.


    Responsibilities:

    Assists with budget andcurriculum development and teaching policy for one or multiple earlychildhood education facilities to ensure safety and compliance andfoster an environment of learning and development.

    Directs operations,supervises staff, and monitors licensing and accreditation compliance.20% Assists with the development and implementation of early childhoodcurriculums, professional development, and operating policies andprocedures to comply with regulations, institutional policies, and unitobjectives 10% Governs tuition account activity, monitors financialreports, and distributes and processes invoices to clients and vendors5% Implements and supervises the operations..
