Area of Responsibilities


  • Provide support to IT infrastructure
  • Providing Level 2 & 3 onsite/remote technical support for LAN/WAN, voice,
wireless, security network

  • Responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, documentation and
administration of enterprise network infrastructure

  • Ensure LAN/WAN, wireless and 3rd party connectivity infrastructure is up and
running all-time.

  • Monitors, maintains and optimizes system performance utilization system
management tools

  • Updating current infrastructure as required
  • Deploying new IT infrastructure equipment as required
  • Firewall rules - based on business needs, ensure Change request are put in for new
rule or change of rule

  • Ensure rule review are conducted in coordination with offshore teams
  • Maintain, manage and troubleshoot traffic and uptime of connectivity
  • Switches & Routers - setup, configure, maintain and harden as per Information
security guidelines


  • Coordinate with offshore support team and/or external vendors and/or service
providers support as required


  • IT Purchasing - Establish, review, process quotes, and purchase order as per DFP
guidelines


  • Lead the infrastructure team as well as actively provide support to staff on IT
infrastructure

  • Providing onsite/remote technical support.
  • Perform hardware/OS troubleshooting and repair.
  • Provide investigation, diagnosis, resolution and recovery for hardware/software
problems for end user machines, Printer/Fax/Scanner technical support

  • Responsible for all End machines software are upgraded to the latest version
after certifications


  • Security compliance - patching and upgrades based on vulnerability reports and
based on banks change request policy across all network equipment.


  • Responsible for server room management
  • Manage new infrastructure enhancement - development, integration, testing and
Parent Bank project team coordination

  • Interact with the Business team and Subject Matter Experts to define project
needs.

  • Develop scope documents, workflow, process flow and test cases
  • Ensure requirements are clear, concise and easy to understand
  • Communicate with stakeholders and the vendors/software development team
to ensure requirements are as per project deliverables

  • Conduct final requirements validation with business and project owners.
  • Provide status updates, escalation to manager as appropriate
  • Review and refine scope documents as the project move forward
  • Meeting defined timelines for closing projects
  • BCP/DR - DR plan to be documented and reviewed on an annual basis. BCP / DR to
be conducted for server room at regular intervals

  • DR infrastructure to be maintained and supported
  • Annual testing to be performed and certified
  • Onboard new SFTP requirement with coordination with offshore SFTP team and
vendors/customers

  • Maintain, manage and trouble shoot existing SFTP setup in case of issues
licenses.


  • Deploy and maintain local servers - Operating system and hardware support
  • Deploy and maintain LAN/WAN & Wireless network equipment -Switch, Firewall,
routers, McAfee IPS & FireEye APT


  • Provide IT support to branches for smooth running of ATM machines.
  • Coordinate with Vendors, Parent Bank technology teams and ATM Switch
provider as required


  • Provide IT support to Payments Canada & Central1
  • Provide installation support in case of new branches or movement
  • Ensure all IT asset Hardware and software life cycle is managed - End of Life and

  • Ensure adherence to Information Security Policy and educate users regarding the
