- Co op experience with a Canadian Utility and/or equivalent CANDU technology experience is an asset
- Must be eligible for Nuclear Site Access Security Clearance at Canadian & US based utilities prior to start of work
- Opportunity to perform some duties working remote during times field presence is not required
- Good communication skills including the ability to comprehend and convey detailed technical data and able to work effectively with all levels of staff and management.
- Possesses specialized knowledge in manufacturing methods, field execution or process systems and good problem identification and resolution skills
- Ability to perform well in a field environment
- Experience in manufacturing and constructability methods and able to support constructability review meetings
- Experienced in generating and checking detailed design and fabrication drawings.
- Provides technical support in analyzing and evaluating routine plant or field systems, equipment and programs.
- Recommends procedures and methods, and prepares technical reports and documentation.
- Provides resolution to routine technical or engineering-related problems.
- Performs technical evaluations of events to determine root cause and recommends corrective action.
- Evaluates, selects and applies technical techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgment in making adaptations and modifications.
- Plans and conducts routine technical or engineering-related assignments.
