ABOUT THE POSITION

The Partner, Investor Relations will have the opportunity to work with investment professionals, finance, operations, asset management, and senior management.

The role will be focused on implementing IR strategies, servicing the investor base and maintaining strong relationships with clients, as well as planning and coordinating events and communications.

The role is expected to be fast-paced and dynamic, within a team environment. This individual must possess excellent communication/analytical skills. They should have the ability to be proactively and work independently, as well as part of a team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage onboarding of new accounts (separate account or launches of new funds)
Taking a leading role in developing and maintaining investor the communications processes
Build relationships cross functional relationships to collaborate on communications strategies and address investor inquiries
Aggregate and deliver ongoing reporting requirements for Hazelview accounts
Managing inquiries from existing and prospective clients to provide responses to all routine and nonroutine questions
Managing preparation and dissemination of communications, including general fund and/or market commentaries, transaction announcements and investment level updates
Preparing and disseminating internal speaking notes to support the selling efforts of Hazelview private funds.
Coordinating and preparing for quarter calls/webcasts and special events or projects

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience:

10+ years of experience in an investor relations and/or sales from a related field such as financial services, real estate, investment banking, or asset management
Postsecondary education in marketing, business, finance or a related discipline.
Possess or working toward CFA designation is considered an asset
Real estate experience is an asset
Knowledge of trading activity and settlements
