What we're looking for:


In this role, the industrial maintenance mechanic is responsible for safely trouble shooting and equipment repair, preventative maintenance and managing spare parts inventory to maximize production up time.


What you'll do:

  • Plans, schedules and conducts machinery preventive maintenance inspections and repairs on the shift; reports equipment performance effectively to team members for seamless shift handover.
  • Works within a teamoriented environment communicating and prioritizing departmental work flow to comply with management and production objectives.
  • Communicates effective preventative machinery practices with operators, leads, supervisors and management, making recommendations of continuous improvements ideas for equipment longevity.
  • Communicates with OEMs for troubleshooting and replacement parts needs.
  • Evaluates the frequency of preventative maintenance activities to align with increasing equipment growth demands.
  • Analyzes equipment failures and makes recommendations for future downtime avoidance.
  • Obtains, prepares and coordinates technical data for training programs of new and existing technologies to ensure overall efficiencies.
  • Equipment installations and removals using safe rigging procedures.
  • Adjust and calibrate equipment and machinery to optimal specifications.
  • Excellent analytical, decision making, people and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Performs additional facilities related tasks as directed.
  • Work off shifts and overtime when necessary to keep production operational.
  • Willingness and ability to travel offsite and occasionally out of country for equipment training sessions.

Who you are:

  • 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright license.
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience as a licensed Millwright.
  • Postsecondary diploma or high school diploma or technical trade license.
  • In depth knowledge and troubleshooting of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics and electronics encompassing automated systems.
  • Experience with automation integration and troubleshooting.
  • PLC programing knowledge and trouble shooting.
  • Ability to read technical manuals, electrical/hydraulic schematics and ladder logic diagrams to understand equipment and controls operations.
  • Experience with Windows10, Microsoft office/excel.
  • Robust computer skills.
  • Ability to interface at multiple levels and operate within cross functional teams.
  • Strong written and communication skills.
  • Highly selfmotivated, committed teamplayer with the desire to learn.
  • Valid G driver's license with a clean driving record
