The Role
We are currently looking for a
CNC Lathe Machinist to join our growing team. This position is based at our Passmore facility.

This is a
full time position on the
afternoon shift.

Afternoon Shift:

Monday - Thursday: 3:30PM - 12:30AM

Friday: 2:00PM - 10:00PM

The CNC Lathe Machinist machines and processes metal parts through the use of a CNC lathe and other systems in the machine shop


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and fabricate metal parts as required by the specifications
  • Setup and operate CNC lathes in accordance with approved safe work procedures
  • Work from process sheets, blueprints, and/or verbal instructions
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area, report any broken pieces of equipment
  • Read micrometers, vernier calipers, etc
  • Check for tolerances

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience in operating CNC Lathe Machines
  • Previous experience using Fanuc controls
  • Must be able to perform setup
  • Previous work experience using hand tools and measuring devices
  • Accuracy and precision in machining of parts
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong team player
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Flexible with working overtime on an occasional basis
