Located just south of Owen Sound in the centre of scenic Grey County, the Township of Chatsworth is a short two-hour drive from major cities like GTA.

Your Role
Work as part of the Senior Management Team to meet the Township's financial statutory obligations.
Managing the Finance Department's daily operations, supervising staff, and providing financial oversight for all departments to ensure operations are within approved budgets and purchasing policies.
Oversee monetary investments and develop/maintain the Asset Management Plan.
Administer annual operating and capital budgets considering capital planning, forecasting expenditures, and project funding.
Calculate the annual tax rate and provide recommendations to Council.
Fulfill other duties as assigned by the Chief Administrative Officer and Council.
Requirements
Degree in Accounting/Finance, Public or Business Administration, or related field.
Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) designation or significant progress towards it.
Certified Municipal Officer (CMO) or Municipal Finance Officer (MFO) designation is an asset.
Minimum five (5) years of municipal experience, including three (3) years in a supervisory role or equivalent financial experience in the private sector.
Extensive knowledge of financial legislative requirements.Strong leadership skills.
