As a Communication Officer at Retro Suites Hotel, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing effective communication strategies to promote our organization's mission and goals.
Your responsibilities will include market research, press releases, social media management, content writing and editing, and ensuring consistent messaging across various communication channels.
Responsibilities:
Monitoring the brand reputation and discussions relating to the organization in media spaces while being able to respond to audiences on time
Monitoring and analyzing any benchmarks or metrics regarding the brand's reputation and being able to make recommendations for improvement
Creating timely and engaging content that is optimized for whatever platform it will be published on
Managing, planning, and coordinating media events
Writing and developing media materials which can include press releases, media advisories, public service announcements, job ads, internal company communications, and blog posts
Brainstorm, construct, write, and edit content for all social media channels
Schedule content in advance for all social media channels
Manage Social media platform threads, comments, and messages
Active community partner showcasing community involvement and kind human spirit
Crisis management and escalation of general inquiries and comments to the management team as required
Showcases new concepts, locations, services, menus, rooms, etc. on all social media channels
Proactively introduces new initiatives and trends whilst staying current on social media channels and/or platforms
Organize, schedule, direct, and follow up with photographers, videographers, and departments to ensure branded messages and products are of the highest quality
Boost social media presence and recognition
Participates in on and/or off-site events for marketing purposes outside of business hours (for example, weddings, festivals, concerts, conferences, etc.)
Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network.
General administrative office organization and management
Research and development of new products and services
Organization of materials, administration office supplies, filing, scheduling of orders arrival, and storage/inventory
Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay:
$45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
