    The Role:

    We are excited to invite a Marketing Data Analyst to join us remotely on a part-time, 20-hour per week basis. This role is ideal for those eager to apply their skills in Google and Meta Ad management and data analysis, using insights to optimize marketing campaigns and offer valuable data and insights to the team. You'll be a critical part of our close-knit team, working in a collaborative, easy-going environment, where fitting in with the team's dynamic and a passion to learn is just as important as technical skills.

    Duties:

    • Gather and analyze data from various sources (web analytics, social media analytics, marketing automation, CRM tools).

    • Media buying and set-ups on Meta and Google ads platforms.

    • Develop and implement data-driven strategies to optimize marketing campaigns.

    • Analyze customer data to identify trends and segment audiences.

    • Monitor marketing performance and provide actionable insights.

    • Create reports and presentations for stakeholders.

    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute test plans.

    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • Proficiency in Google Ad and Facebook/Meta Ad Management.

    • Experience with data visualization tools (preferably Google Data Studio).

    • Skills in market research, analysis, and marketing strategy.

    • Competitor analysis experience.

    • Familiarity with marketing analytics tools and techniques.

    • Ability to interpret data and develop actionable insights.

    • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    • Prior experience using Basecamp or other project management tools is preferred.

    • Experience with Python or SQL an asset, but not required.

    Education and Certifications:

    • Google Ad Certification required. You're welcome to apply if you are in progress of completion but must be finished prior to start date.

    • DataCamp training, Google Data Analytics Certification, Meta Marketing Analytics Certification or equivalent data and marketing analyst certifications required.

    • Formal education in marketing, communications, business not required, but beneficial.

    Compensation and Benefits:

    • Fully remote position.

    • Contract position, part-time, maximum of 20 hours per week.

    • Preference for digital nomads, open to candidates from any location.

    • Salary: $20-25 per hour.
