    Description

    Data Scientist

    On behalf of our client in the Banking Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Data Scientist.

    Data Scientist – Job Description

    • This position is responsible for providing project specific information to their partnered bank department
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing analytic solutions for the project stakeholders
    • Developing analytic solutions for project stakeholders
    • Data Cleaning, Processing and Modeling through the use of Python, SQL and Power BI
    • The position will be responsible for model development based on project needs
    • Communicating regularly with management regarding status updates
    • Engage with different teams across the organization - i.e., internal stakeholders to understand and articulate analytic requirements

    Data Scientist – Mandatory Skills

    • 3-5 Years of experience in a Data Scientist position
    • Ability to develop advanced analytical solutions based on business requirements
    • Strong familiarity with Python and SQL, hands-on experience working with Big Data and various data formats
    • Previous experience with data cleaning, processing and visualization
    • Previous experience with statistical analysis, machine learning, predictive modeling, data pipeline and model development
    • Communication Skills
    • Relationship building skills
    • Post-Secondary Education is required but would be preferred in a related field

    Data Scientist - Nice to Have Skills

    • Previous Financial Institution experience
    • Power BI experience
