Regulatory Affairs Associate
Reporting to the Responsible Person/Director of Quality
Roles and Responsibilities
- Product launch and maintenance
- Generate and submit NNCPs
- Review labels, packaging, and ingredients for compliance
- Oversee launch projects, working with Quality and Production to ensure all stakeholder needs are met
- Assess changes to products and complete necessary reviews, notifications resulting from these changes
- Regulator communication
- Lead/advise on communication with the regulator
- License maintenance
- Maintain/update OSP
- Participate in third party audits
- Assist Quality with material control, procedural updates (assessing regulatory compliance)
- Conduct risk assessments and present findings to leadership team
Skills/knowledge
- Knowledge of the _Cannabis Act, Cannabis Regulations_ and relevant Health Canada guidance documents
- Experience with NNCPs
- Knowledge of cannabis advertising and marketing standards, able to assess compliance
- Understanding of GMP requirements
- Experience with cannabis exports
- Background with food/edibles an asset
Salary:
$45,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

Education:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
