    The Facility Patient Care Manager is responsible for the administrative functions of the Hospital in the absence of Senior Administrative personnel.

    Ensures that the delivery of health care services is consistent with the philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures of the Grace Hospital.

    Fosters/facilitates interdisciplinary, collaborative relationships within the institution as a whole and with other health care services to ensure a high standard of patient care.

    ~ Directly accountable to the Executive Director, Clinical Services /Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).

    A minimum of five (5) years' experience with demonstrated management and leadership skills in hospital management.

    Demonstrated participatory management style which fosters an interdisciplinary, collaborative environment that supports quality patient care.
    Demonstrated skills in labour relations management.
    Self-directed and demonstrates creative problem-solving in both patient and administrative matters.

    This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.

    Please note that an employee is not permitted to hold two or more positions across the WRHA legal entity that combine to equal more than 1.The WRHA legal entity includes Churchill Health Centre, Deer Lodge Centre, Grace Hospital, Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg, Pan Am Clinic, River Park Gardens, Victoria General Hospital, WRHA corporate programs, and WRHA community health services.
