    Description
    Sandstone Glenmore Compounding Pharmacy* is looking for a *Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Calgary, AB.
    *We are a full-service compounding pharmacy providing sterile/non-sterile, hazardous and non-hazardous compounding services to pharmacies, veterinary clinics, and veterinary patients across Alberta.
    *Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, and under the supervision of a pharmacist, this position will practice in collaboration with pharmacists to provide the best possible pharmacy services to our patients. The Pharmacy Technician's primary role is to ensure prescriptions are filled correctly. They will transcribe verbal orders, transfer prescriptions, and check on the technical aspects of the prescription. Prepare compounded medications following established formulas, techniques, and safety protocols
    Ensure the quality and potency of compounded medications
    Work under direct and indirect supervision of pharmacists and supervise pharmacy assistants
    Other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager.
    *Completion of a recognized Pharmacy Technician program.
    Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the Alberta College of Pharmacists (ACP).
