We are looking for individual with a love of accounting admin functions as well as an interest in working at a beautiful location with a great team This part-time role is based out of our Head Office in Dundas, Ontario, and involves working closely with our clients and the client services team to support a variety of administrative tasks.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure the accuracy of customer invoices and estimates
- Process customer payments, monitor outstanding balances and communicate with clients to receive payments (accounts receivable)
- Maintain complete records re: client contracts, ensuring accuracy, proper invoicing and filing as per approved amounts/schedules
- Anticipate roadblocks and work to mitigate their impact; ultimately assisting where required in expediting resolutions and ensuring a smooth daytoday operation
- Review monthly bank and credit card statements, identifying activity, sourcing relevant receipts and recording as required
- Retrieve, process and distribute Canada Post mail
- Assist in the backup performance of other client services or operations roles, eg., other admin specialists and shipping and fulfillment, as needed
- Other administrative duties as required
Experience & Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in an accounting admin position preferred
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, softwarebased environment
- Working knowledge of and experience using Google Drive, Gmail and Sheets
- Strong proficiency in Quickbooks Online, in Microsoft Office (Excel), and aptitude to learn other software tools
- Interest to provide exceptional customer service
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a positive workspace
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Ability to receive both verbal and written instruction
- Interest to work collaboratively within in a team to problem solve and complete work
