- Servicing new and existing accounts by analyzing work orders, investigating complaints, identifying solutions, conducting tests, and resolving problems
- Troubleshooting issues with all commercial and industrial plumbing equipment
- Installing or retrofitting equipment as per specifications, customer requests, blueprints or the current building / plumbing codes
- Inspecting product quality and installation to ensure conformance and customer satisfaction
- Documenting service and installation actions by completing electronic forms, reports, logs, and records
- 2nd or 3rd Year Plumbing Apprentice;
- Experience working in a commercial setting;
- Available for rotating on call shifts;
- Valid class 5 driver's license with an acceptable 5-year driver's abstract;
- Valid safety certifications such as First Aid, Fall Protection, Cross Connection Control, WHMIS, TDG, CSTS, PSTS,AWP, H2S Alive considered an asset.
- $28.47-$33.22/hour base rate;
- Company vehicle supplied;

Founded in 1968, Gateway Mechanical is a privately owned company that has established itself as a leader in the commercial and industrial refrigeration, heating and air conditioning industry (HVACR). Attending to 40,000+ service calls per year, Gateway is the largest HVAC & Refrigeration service provider in Western Canada. Our model is comprised of local branch teams with fully qualified personnel representing HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing/gas fitting, sheet metal and electrical trades. The Plumbing Apprentice will perform quality maintenance services for our valued clients on commercial and industrial sites while showcasing exceptional customer service skills.
