  • The TIS Business Relationship Manager (BRM)
  • Liquids Pipelines, has the overall responsibility to serve as primary TIS interface with teams in Liquids Pipelines. In this role, the BRM will be responsible for the business technology strategy development, solution discovery, new product introduction, program delivery, service management, risk management and relationship management. The BRM serves as the business relationship link between Liquids Pipelines teams and Technology and Information Services at the midlevel leadership levels.
  • Jointly develops with teams in Liquids Pipelines multiyear technology roadmaps aligned with Enbridge's overall Strategic Priorities, TIS's Strategic Imperatives and LP's strategy.
  • Collaborate with leaders to develop Long-Range Plans and the associated TIS capital and operational budget & resources.
  • Lead the executing, sustaining and adoption of complex and robust programs/projects in alignment with the technology roadmaps.
  • Serve as the strategic interface between TIS and Liquids Pipelines teams as a "trusted advisor".
  • Build and lead a team of comprised of Business Analyst(s), Program Manager(s), and Solution Architect(s) that will support in identifying when and where significant business technology improvement and projects are needed and improve the quality of business outputs.
  • Introduce next generation automation capability to drive productivity and effectives of Liquids Pipelines processes.
  • Ensure the full delivery of TIS value to Liquids Pipelines teams by nurturing highlevel relationships, sensing opportunities and selling the value of TIS in delivering business solutions.
  • Define and monitor technology adoption and usage metrics.
  • Partner within Technology Working Groups & Enterprise Architecture to ensure solutions align with identified business needs
  • Align with the overall TIS VMO strategy and leverage the vendor market place to deliver solutions
  • Direct professional team development including goal setting, performance management, coaching, mentoring and ensuring the teams skills, certifications and capabilities are kept uptodate through the implementation of training and development programs
  • Develop and implement sound rationale for portfolio management and managing product phaseinphaseout plans, proactively anticipating gaps and overlaps within the portfolio.
  • Create consensus with other functions as to the timing of solution introductions and withdrawals.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • University degree or technical diploma in computer science, business, or engineer. An advanced university degree in a related field is an asset.
  • At least 10 years of progressively responsible and related experience
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership position managing physical and virtual teams
  • Aptitude and communications skills related to leading and acting independently
  • Proven interpersonal, communication, negotiation, influence and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to be innovative, initiate, lead, manage and embrace change.
  • Strong relationship management and consensus building skills.
  • Must have a proven track record of being a clear analytical thinker.
  • Ability to interact with wide range of management levels through the Enterprise coupled with strong ability to raise and resolve technical and business issues.
  • Nonauthoritative leadership skills, experience in leading others including mentoring/coaching.
  • Excellent project coordination, problem resolution, analytical, organization & prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities/demands simultaneously, and ability to recognize and address workload issues.
  • Able to effectively balance and weigh competing priorities and determine appropriate course of action independently.
  • Business process focus and ability to take an enterprise perspective in the execution of assigned duties.
  • Excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills. Must be able to explain technology concepts and issues in a manner that business stakeholders understand.
  • Respond resourcefully to change, works constructively under pressure and encourages change towards improvement
