Our award-winning team is growing, and Group 161 is hiring a
Marketing Manager to be based out of our Richmond Office.

Group 161 represents a diverse group of companies including Atelier Pacific Architecture, Barnett Dembek Architecture and DF Architecture. We offer a collaborative, team-oriented environment with opportunities for growth and continued professional development.

About the Position:

The schedule is Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm, 40 hours a week.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

Content Production

Lead Group 161 content production; Creative writing and narrative development for outgoing content;
Oversee and update firm website content through WordPress CMS; Ability to efficiently edit, create, and upload website content to support overall firm communications;
Oversee and update Group 161 social media content and lead social media campaign development and graphic design; Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content weekly.

Business Development Strategy

Generate and maintain leads;
Design and implement social media strategies and objectives to align with business goals;
Strategic planning with Senior Management and Associates to support short and long‐term goals of the company;
Assist with strategy and development of LOI/RFQ/RFP responses.

Branding

Keeping up to date with digital technology, industry trends and best practices;
Organise and manage events to boost brand awareness;
Coordinate marketing, PR and communications activities;
Maintain accurate records for all marketing activities;
Ability to track and analyze digital campaigns and data;
Coordinate all outgoing written content and visual collateral

Other related duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years relevant experience in an office setting is required;
Post‐secondary education in Marketing, Business Administration or other related fields is preferred;
Related experience from Architecture/Engineering firms is a strong asset;
Meticulous attention to detail, quality, and thoroughness;
Training and/or experience in graphic design is a strong asset;
Working knowledge of SEO, geomarketing principles, and MS Office suite;
Technical aptitude with advanced abilities in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign and Illustrator);
Proven work experience as a social media manager;
Hands on experience in content management;
Excellent copywriting skills;
Proactive and able to work independently with good judgment and mínimal direction;
Highly organized and capable of effectively handling multiple projects and tasks concurrently;
Adaptable and resourceful in handling shifting, sometimes competing, priorities and tight deadlines while maintaining a friendly, positive, and helpful attitude;
Ability and willingness to regularly follow up with all stakeholders to ensure current matters are addressed appropriately and in a timely fashion;
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills;
Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video);
Experience in the preparation and coordination of proposals is an asset.
