    DnA powers EA Studios to create even greater player experiences. We help shape the future from the way games are created, to how they are played and viewed. We are a global team distributed around the world

    The Project Management Team within DnA is looking for accomplished people to help us fulfill our mission of building AI-powered features and capabilities for EA titles. As a Senior Development Director you will work with the AI Live Service (ALIVE) group coordinating the development of areas including recommendation systems, matchmaking, economic simulations, content moderation, and game balancing. You will partner with a global group of extraordinary minds working with data scientists, machine learning engineers, analysts, product experts to name a few.

    Summary

    Reporting to the Sr. DD, you will lead a team to deliver AI features related to EA live service titles bringing value to players through improving personalization and driving engagement in EA titles.

    Responsibilities

    • You will partner with Senior Director Data Science, Product and Technical Director leads to establish the strategy to meet milestones and critical deliverables.
    • You will work with internal and external partners to ensure that quality, budgets and timelines are met.
    • You will inspire fresh thinking and new ideas to ensure the team has the best organizational structure and practices to allow them to produce high quality on time and on budget.
    • You will help develop a team culture based on openness, trust and collaboration.
    • You will be responsible for coaching and career development of your reports.

    Qualifications

    • Experience:You have 12+ years Project Management and 8+ years People Management experience
    • You have a track record of delivery of large critical software projects (30+ team members, multi-million dollar budgets).
    • Leadership skills:You have the ability to excite and drive a multi-disciplinary team to deliver innovation through collaboration.
    • You have the ability to drive outcomes across all levels of an organization, build partnerships, and solve critical priorities.
    • You have the ability to set clear objectives, and monitor execution towards those objectives.
    • Role specific skills:You have excellent knowledge of software development processes, with significant project and risk management experience.
    • You are an inclusive and development-orientated people manager, who has managed both people within your area of expertise, and those who sit within other job families.
    • You have experience with data, analytics, or AI related areas either through managed data related projects or as components of projects.

    COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

    The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the range and benefits for your specific location. EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

    BASE SALARY RANGES

    • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento): o $185,300 - $278,800 USD Annually
    • New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo): o $172,100 - $278,800 USD Annually
    • Jersey City, NJ : o $217,900 - $278,800 USD Annually
    • Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs): o $180,100 - $237,200 USD Annually
    • Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane): o $172,100 - $271,200 USD Annually
    • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria): o $160,200 - $229,100 CAN Annually

    Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity. For British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
