Dairy Solutions Specialist

Guelph Office (Hybrid)

Full-time, Permanent

What you will do:

Act as a consultant with Semex staff and clients on showing the value of genetics, through using modern genetic strategies, and industry leading Semex products and brands.
Promote the value of Semex Solutions suite of products including SemexWorks, Optimate, Elevate and DairyTrack with both staff and clients.
Help with assessment, testing and launch of new Semex products. Develop training materials to ensure the successful introduction of innovative products in the field.
Work with third party suppliers to ensure successful integration of their products within Semex and network of distributors.
Support the administration of the Semex Solution products, monitor and report the usage of products within distributorships.
Lead training sessions with Semex staff and clients for the suite of Semex Solutions and products.
Setup and monitor data collection pipelines to connect farm management software to the Semex Solutions network.
Provide Semex staff and clients with technical support and product updates for Semex products.

What you'll need to be successful:

Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science or Agricultural Business

A passion and strong understanding of dairy genetics
Ability to problem solve and learn new technologies quickly
Excellent communication and collaborative skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and MS Office tools
