As the Senior Producer/ Associate Director, Production, you will take charge of various production projects, overseeing integrated campaign production from start to finish and serving as the production voice in discussions. You are collaborative, well-connected in the production industry, and eager to collaborate with internal teams and external partners to bring outstanding work to life. The ideal candidate will feel at ease managing a variety of campaign deliverables across multiple platforms including significant broadcast shoots, social media, print, and digital assets. Additionally, you will be comfortable overseeing production freelancers or less experienced producers.

    What You Will Do:

    • Work on various platforms (broadcast, digital, and print) to develop creatively-driven initiatives.
    • Contribute to campaign briefs to outline and document future project scope, including budgets, timelines, and assumptions.
    • Collaborate closely across departments, participate in enhancing creative ideas during production by conducting research, scouting locations, casting, and ultimately assembling the right execution team.
    • Handle estimates, negotiations, approvals, and cost tracking (project budgets, crew/hourly rates, invoicing, reconciliations, and receipt management) for assigned projects.
    • Create and oversee schedules, ensuring responsibilities are outlined at all milestones and communicated effectively to the appropriate team members.
    • Work closely with the Director and collaborate with creative teams to develop storyboards, shot lists, and production mood boards.
    • Stay updated on creatively-driven campaigns to bring fresh innovative ideas and solutions to the forefront proactively.
    • Projects may encompass full-scale 360 productions, broadcast spots, TV/radio adaptations and digital revisions, content, animatics/test materials, still shoots, OOH, print, case study videos, new business pitch materials, and more.
    • Manage ACTRA union agreements and talent tracking.
    • Oversee external vendors, crews, Production Partners, and talent.
    • Supervise and collaborate with the post-production team to log and ingest incoming footage, oversee edit reviews, color & sound needs, consolidate feedback and approvals.
    • Take responsibility for preparing, circulating, and updating status trackers, meeting recap notes, and any necessary financial documentation such as completion reports.
    • Collaborate with other internal teams to bolster production.
    • Manage the logistical requirements of a production - including but not limited to - ordering necessary equipment, preparing and updating call sheets, shooting schedules, location agreements, insurance, risk assessments, and talent contracts (ACTRA, UDA, non-union).
    • Coordinate travel arrangements for production staff, cast, and crew; potentially encompassing air travel, accommodations, carnets, work permits, location releases, and visas.
    • Foster interdepartmental relationships and contribute to talent pools/freelance database while cultivating a strong network.
    • Lead, motivate, and serve as an advocate for production within the agency, cross-training teams, and being the representative for production in discussions.<

    What You'll Bring to the Table:

    • 7+ years of experience in a Producer role within an advertising agency or production company (or equivalent).
    • Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques.
    • Integrated production experience across a range of formats.
    • Capacity to manage and inspire a growing team.
    • Experience with live-action pre and post-production workflows.
    • Experience with ACTRA talent management, UDA.
    • Experience in managing multiple projects and workstreams.
    • Experience in negotiating vendor contracts and ensuring vendor quality.
    • Growth mindset to pinpoint opportunities and efficiently manage productions.
    • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
    • Problem-solving skills and the capability to identify solutions within a complex environment.
    • Collaborative nature and a valuable and respected team member.
    • Competence in meeting deadlines and operating within daily time constraints.
    • Capacity to anticipate needs and work with minimal supervision.
    • Professional judgment in handling confidential information.
    • Flexibility to work extended hours and/or weekends to meet project deadlines.
