    POSITION OVERVIEW:
    Startec Compression and Process is currently recruiting an Intermediate Project Engineer- Facilities to work at our Glenmore Office location (Suite 240, 4000 Glenmore Court SE, Calgary, AB, T2C 5R8). The Intermediate Project Engineer – Facilities' role is to coordinate detailed engineering, procurement, and fabrication for assigned projects, or project areas and ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Intermediate Project Engineer – Facilities will assist in planning, and executing projects, including budget management, procurement, and construction oversight.

    1. FACILITY ENGINEERING (Weighting 50%):
    • Facility Design & Optimization
    • Equipment Selection and Maintenance
    • TECHNICAL EXCELLENCE (Weighting 45%):
    • Project Execution
    • Safety & Environmental Compliance
    • Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration
    • CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT (Weighting 5%):
    • Continuous Improvement & Innovation

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in the design, engineering, and fabrication of gas processing facilities. Experience in facility design, construction, and maintenance, preferably in a similar industry or environment. Knowledge of typical oil and gas equipment and systems such as Separators, Towers, Storage Tanks/Bullets, Flares and Knockouts, Instrument air, Heat Medium packages, Truck Loading, Pumps, Modularization etc., is an asset. P.Eng (APEGA) or Professional Licensee (Engineering). Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint), with a strong ability to work well with customers, vendors, designers, and fabrication staff. Good understanding of ASME / ANSI / API / CSA Codes and ABSA requirements.
