The Role

  • The Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration is seeking to hire a fulltime CSIS Regular Probationary instructors for the upcoming academic year.
    Responsibilities
The instructor must be fully prepared to teach Introduction to Programming I (CSIS 1175), Excel in Business (CSIS 1190), Multimedia Web Development (CSIS 1280), Systems Analysis and Design (CSIS 2200) and Database Management (CSIS 2300), as well as being able to teach at least TWO of the following 6 (SIX) combo COURSES:

  • CSIS 2260 Operating Systems / CSIS Data Visualization / CSIS 2270 Virtualization and Networking / CSIS 4270 Cloud Infrastructure / CSIS 3155 Computer Network Security / CSIS 4470 Network Cybersecurity / CSIS 4450 Operating Systems and Multimedia Cybersecurity / CSIS 4460 Cloud Cybersecurity OR
  • CSIS 3175 Mobile Development / CSIS 3375 UX DESIGN /
CSIS 4440 Mobile Cybersecurity / CSIS 4175 Mobile Development II / CSIS 4280 Special Topics in Emerging Technology OR

  • CSIS 2175 Java Programming / CSIS 3275 Software Engineering / CSIS 3475 Data Structure using Java / CSIS 4050 Advanced OOP for Business Applications/ OR
  • CSIS 3280 Web Based Scripting / CSIS 3380 Full Stack Development with JavaScript OR
  • CSIS 3160 Evidence Imaging / CSIS 3560 Scripting for Cybersecurity / CSIS 4480 Vulnerabilities and Exploits OR
  • CSIS Machine Learning / CSIS 3300 Advanced Database / 4260 Special Topics in Data Analytics. / CSIS Data Visualization
  • An applicant who has expertise in CSIS 3290, CSIS 3300, CSIS 3380, CSIS 4175, and CSIS 4260 will be prioritized.
    To Be Successful in this Role You Will Need
Possess a relevant PhD and/or Masters' degree from an accredited university.

  • Demonstrate an excellent ability to teach at the postsecondary level.
  • Demonstrate good interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work cooperatively with colleagues in a team environment.
