As the Mobility Learning and Development Administrator, you will be the main point of contact for employees and supervisors seeking course information, course registration and access to training records.

In this position, you will be responsible for addressing Mobility's employee training needs, which includes coordinating the logistics for all training as well as training required to comply with regulatory and legislative standards.


Primary duties include:

  • Analyze training gap lists and determine the best approach to rolling out training. Work with supervisors to design realistic training rollout dates/locations to address gaps. Book spaces in 11 satellite locations to deliver online and face to face training.
  • Set up mobile computer labs and presentation equipment in 11 locations as required.
  • Act as the Mobility registrar for all courses, by advertising course offerings, booking trainers, tracking registrations, preparing training materials and setting up training rooms.
  • Prepare learning materials and provide resources for upcoming training courses.
  • Manage room bookings and maintain the physical space in four training rooms.
  • Input data into the corporate Learning Management System (LMS) on staff course completions, employee training records, ensuring that information is accurate and complete.
  • Pull reports from LMS for tracking training activity on an individual and divisional level.
  • Maintain expiry lists for fit testing and audio metric testing. Arrange testing rollout in all Mobility locations.
  • Build and maintain the folder system for the Mobility portion of the corporate Safety Data Management System (SDMS). Set up SDMS training site when needed.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for process and quality improvements, providing feedback on usage, defects, and suggested enhancements.
  • Write and maintain technical procedures for training purposes.

QualificationsA completed 2-year Diploma in Adult Learning and with least 5 years of related experience.
Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.

A valid Class 5 Driver's License (or provincial equivalent), with no more than 6 demerits and no current suspensions or charges pending OR a valid Graduated Driver's License (GDL) with no more than 4 demerits and no current suspensions or charges required.

Additional coursework in Adult Education and experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS), would be an asset.

Success in this position requires a solution focused approach, with a friendly demeanor and a desire to be part of a customer service-oriented team that serves field and office staff.

This position requires excellent planning and organizing, attention to detail, comfort with a variety of software, time management, and communication skills.
