What can I expect to do in this role?: In this role, you will:

  • conduct complex business and systems analysis and design
- re-engineer large-scale business processes
- develop strategies to maximize technology
- develop innovative business and technology analysis solutions and technology performance standards
- prepare business cases, project costs, specifications and test plans
- coordinate and evaluate the work of external consultants


How do I qualify?:


Analytical skills:

You can:
- identify data patterns and irregularities (e.g. data analysis towards funding accountability and alignment to policy commitments)
- determine appropriate types of data visualizations to best represent the data and metrics being presented


Technical Skills:

You have:
- experience eliciting, gathering and documenting business requirements using proven standards and methodologies
- experience documenting business processes and developing use cases for large, enterprise-level solutions
- experience with Quality Assurance standards and methodologies and hands-on knowledge of all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- experience with scripting and coding for data processing and analysis for data integration (e.g. SQL, Python, R, PowerQuery) for funding delivery and policy development
- experience with data warehousing and business intelligence concepts and models


Communication Skills:

You have:
- verbal communication skills to facilitate presentations and to explain methodologies (e.g. machine learning, predictive analytics, probabilistic algorithms) used to determine findings to non-technical stakeholders; specifically management and executive level stakeholders
- written communication skills to develop business cases and reports, prepare clear software documentation
- effective consultation and interpersonal skills to liaise and work effectively with various stakeholders


Project Management Skills:

You have:
- knowledge of project management to develop plans, schedules, and terms of reference; determine resource requirements and project deliverables; monitor project phases; and prioritize issues and assignments for project team
- demonstrated experience with various Agile techniques, standards and methodologies
- experience with leading procurement activities utilizing the Vendors of Record
