    Description
    As a Restaurant Server, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive dining experience for our guests.

    You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, delivering food and beverages, collecting payments, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.

    Your ability to provide attentive and efficient service while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor will contribute to the overall success of the restaurant.


    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Guest Interaction:

    • Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere.
    • Take orders accurately and answer any questions about the menu.
    • Offer recommendations and provide information about daily specials.
    • Address guest concerns and ensure their satisfaction throughout the dining experience.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Minimum of two to three years' experience in a server role is required.
    • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English, a second language is an asset.
    • Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written (via phone and in-person).
    • OpenTable knowledge is an asset / Micros knowledge is an asset.
    • Must have Serving it Right and FoodSafe Level 1 Certification.
    • Knowledge of food and alcoholic beverages.
    • A positive, upbeat attitude with the ability to work well under pressure within a team.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Must have a flexible schedule and be available to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
    • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill a variety of opening or closing duties.
    • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 5 hours in length and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
    • Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
    • Strong multitasking abilities and the ability to work under pressure.
    • Positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences.
