Injection Molding Process Manager

Who are you:

Injection Molding Process Manager:

An experienced leader in Plastic injection Molding.
Part of the leadership team that drives safety performance within the facilities.

What you will Do in your role:

Manage injection mold set up, processing, and tool repair departments.
Ensure that all personnel understand and comply with our Health and Safety policies and Legislated Occupational Health and Safety Standards.
Develop and implement training programs to improve the safety and productivity of direct reports.
Lead continuous improvement efforts for processing, tooling, and automation to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (Availability, Performance, Quality)
Participate in new program launches to validate target cycle times, review mould design/construction, and complete the first production trial.
Requisition supplies and liaise with external vendors for repairs/service calls.
Build economic cases for capital expenditure related to building, equipment, and tooling.
Participate in monthly quality meetings to determine root cause and corrective actions for scrap and nonconforming product.
