Summary:

A Project Site Administrator at Clearway is responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of construction projects. Tasks involve assisting the team in project administration, communication with clients, consulting engineers, and subcontractors.

The position is based out of the field office for the project within the GTA, with the occasional need for interproject travel during working hours.


Please note that this position will require daily travel to job sites located in the Hamilton region.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Assist the Site Superintendent and Project Manager, where applicable, in the day to day duties of operations administration
  • Coordinate with subcontractors in requesting and following up on shop drawing submittals, additional work pricing and design submittals
  • Assist the Site Superintendent and Project Manager in maintaining accurate and uptodate logs (Shop drawings, RFI, RFQ, Purchase Orders, etc.), tracking responses and keeping both the Project Manager and Site Superintendent up to date of the status
  • Assist in creating and updating asbuilt and maintenance manual documents
  • Attend internal coordination and project meetings as requested/required
  • Coordinate and complete a project photograph record
  • Prepare and draft traffic control plans on required program (Invarion)
  • Coding, sorting and submitting packing slips as and when received on site
  • Processing time and material work and preparing claims for review by the Project Manager.
  • Complete additional assignments and responsibilities as requested by the Site Superintendent, Project Manager or Senior Management.
  • Accurate input of data in various programs used within the company in a timely manner
  • Assisting with the procurement process and solicitation of vendors for construction projects
  • Maintaining, tracking and filing of all project related documents
  • Liaise between site staff and office personnel for project related matters
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, photographs to keep track of the project
  • Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency
  • Complete additional assignments and responsibilities as requested by Senior Management

Requirements:


  • Post-Secondary Education/College Diploma
  • Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or Construction Management
  • Knowledge and use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe
  • Valid Ontario Drivers License
  • Proficient in the English language (written and oral) with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Ability to meet and adhere to deadlines and work under strict time constraints
  • Be selfmotivated and driven
  • Civil construction experience an asset
