    Shift

    As a key member of our Registration/Admission Clerical team, the Clerical Associate's responsibilities include, but are not limited to: registration/admission, accurately update demographic information, order entry, bookings, create patient charts, filing, bed board, patient transfer, arrange patient transport, criticall, verify and update medical insurance, collect payment for uninsured services and supplies, meet with patients or their family for preferred accommodation.

    The Clerical Associate must maintain strict confidentiality of all patient information in accordance with the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA).

    This is a position with a variety of scheduled shifts which include days, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays. As a part time employee, you are required to be available for all shifts that you are scheduled for. The Hospital schedules based on our operational needs and this commitment is essential to the success of this position. Posted hours do not constitute a guarantee that shifts will not be subject to change.
    Medical Office Administration Program certificate, required
    Medical Terminology Certificate required
    Minimum two years of current Patient Registration/Admissions/Discharges experience within a hospital setting is required
    One (1) year current experience in a medicine program required
    Excellent Microsoft Office skills and proficiency in the use of a computer
