Job Summary

Our Midea Canada subsidiary, headquartered in Markham, ON, is seeking an experienced Product Manager with a proven track record in the appliance industry to join our team.


As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for managing the product development process and the product life cycle and ensuring success of the line-up in the Canadian market.

You will work closely with international cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, sales and marketing, to launch products that meet the needs of our retail partners and customers.


Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs and trends in the appliance industry.
  • Develop and manage product roadmaps that align with our strategic goals and market opportunities.
  • Define product requirements, specifications, and line up based on customer feedback and market research.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop product designs, features, and user experiences.
  • Create and manage project timelines and budgets to ensure ontime product launches.
  • Develop and execute effective gotomarket strategies, including pricing, brand positioning, and promotional planning.
  • Conduct frequent competitive analysis to identify market trends and opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, including sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction to drive the extended team to achieve company goals.
  • Manage the P&L for the assigned product lines.
  • Continuously gather and incorporate feedback from key stakeholders to improve product offerings, product positioning and promotional planning.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.
  • Actively engage in forecasting and channel inventory management with stakeholders.
  • Define and execute the channel management strategy in collaboration with stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management.
  • Experience product marketing management in the home appliance industry.
  • Strong project management skills with experience leading crossfunctional teams.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Experience with product development processes.
  • Indepth knowledge of the Canadian appliance market.
  • Good understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Experience developing and executing gotomarket strategies, pricing, positioning and promotional planning.
  • Experience having full P&L responsibility.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
  • Salary (Canadian): $100K 130K_
