- Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing
- A minimum of five (5) years experience within the past seven (7) years, including experience in the area of specialty with demonstrated management and leadership skills
- Previous management experience, preferably two (2) years required
- Demonstrates ability to foster an interdisciplinary collaborative environment that supports quality client/patient care/quality improvement and an empowered practice model
- Given the cultural diversity of our region, the ability to respect and promote a culturally diverse population is required
- Completes and maintains a satisfactory Criminal Record Check, Vulnerable Sector Search, Adult Abuse Registry Check and Child Abuse Registry Check, as appropriate

Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centred clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.
Position Summary:
The Manager is responsible for the delivery of quality client/patient care in the assigned areas of operations.
The Manager fosters and facilitates interdisciplinary, collaborative relationships within the areas of responsibility, the institution and the community to ensure a high standard of client/patient care.
The Manager assumes major responsibilities for the operational management, coordination and delivery of client/patient care in the assigned areas in accordance with:The responsibilities of the Manager encompasses the domains of management and leadership, planning, organizing, program development, communication, resource management (fiscal and human), policy development, advancement of knowledge, and continuous quality improvement.
The Manager is directly accountable to the Director - Personal Care Homes (East or West) for: Client/patient care management of the assigned areas; and the policies of Southern Health-Santé Sud.
