    YWCA Toronto is looking for an Associate Manager to join their team at YWCA Davenport.     KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Supervises the kitchen team, concierge desk staff, and relief support team to ensure safety and security within the shelter;
    • Coordinates with program partners to deliver services designed to support residents' health and well-being;
    • Facilitates administrative tasks, staff meetings, and outreach activities to ensure program operations run smoothly;
    • Utilizes harm reduction approaches to enhance residents' shelter experience and community engagement;
    • Maintains program facilities according to funding agreements and government regulations;
    • Plans and secures relief coverage for essential staff when needed.

    QUALIFICATIONS
    • In-depth knowledge of mental health or health service delivery acquired through relevant academic background;
    • 3-5 years of experience in a shelter environment providing support to individuals facing homelessness, poverty, or trauma;
    • Supervisory experience and familiarity with Toronto Shelter Standards;
    • Understanding of harm reduction strategies and relevant legislation;
    • Ability to build strong service delivery partnerships and manage conflicts effectively;
    • Experience in group social work, community engagement, and clinical case management;
    • Strong communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills;
    • Flexibility in work hours to meet program requirements.
