    Reports to: Business Insights Manager

    Type of position: Full-time

    The Opportunity
    We're looking for a National Business Insights Consultant for our Toronto office. In this role, you'll provide objective consulting to our Leadership Team. Working closely with Marketing and Menu departments, you'll offer recommendations for business optimization and product category evolution. We need someone with strong analytical skills, a background in business research, and excellent communication abilities.

    Our Business Insights team aims to uncover insights that drive great advertising, food, and promotional programs. We're on a mission to enhance the guest experience and redefine McDonald's brand perception in Canada and beyond.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    Business Planning

    • Supporting the business planning process for select product categories and the total business
    • Maintaining expertise in Canada's economy, demographics, and more
    • Providing regular updates on category business performance and driving focus on business priorities

    Marketing Co-operation

    • Contributing to annual marketing planning and supporting national Operator teams
    • Conveying business information to the Owner/Operator community

    Analysis & Reporting

    • Conducting analytics for deeper insight into business performance
    • Defining category-specific strategies and financial targets

    Qualifications:

    The ideal candidate will possess:

    • 5-7 years' experience in a sales analysis role
    • An undergraduate degree in business; additional qualifications are a plus
    • Advanced financial analysis and data reporting skills
    • Experience in category management and working in fast-paced environments
    • Strong communication and presentation skills
    • MS Office proficiency, knowledge of other platforms is advantageous
    • A self-starter who can provide timely reporting independently
