    Description

    We are looking for a dedicated and diligent Senior Fisheries Scientis t to join our growing team While working alongside Ecofish experts in your field, we will support your career goals by providing great opportunities for growth and advancement through mentorship, training, and other professional development opportunities.

    Creating and implementing innovative environmental designs and practices to create solutions that assist and support industry and government, deliver green, sustainable developments.

    We develop novel techniques to increase accuracy in assessing environmental impacts and create innovative solutions for our clients.
    Social responsibility is at the core of our mission. Your role will require you to bring a high standard of scientific excellence to your daily work. These responsibilities will be in your domain.

    Leading the design, planning, and execution of ecological studies focused on fisheries and aquatic resources.

    Summarizing and analyzing data to draw conclusions on environmental conditions and using these results with inference to scientific literature to make defensible conclusions about the status of the environment and the potential effects of anticipated natural and anthropogenic influences.

    Documenting these results in written reports and presenting the results to clients, regulators, Indigenous groups and stakeholders as part of regulatory and approval processes.

    Working as a member of an interdisciplinary team, taking the lead on specific tasks, taking direction on others, and collaborating with your colleagues to maximize work productivity and quality.


    D. in aquatic or fisheries science.

    Effective analytical and technical editing and review skills, and ability to ensure delivery of high quality reports and proposals.

    Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality, excellence, and ethics.
    Experience in the mining sector an asset.
