The Project Facilitator is responsible to organize, document and facilitate project activities; including supporting project delivery, project management and risk management mitigation.
This position will facilitate project and portfolio management reporting, and collaborate with multiple stakeholders, internal and external, to ensure outcomes are successfully achieved.
Regular Full-TimeRate of Pay:
$ $42.05
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of a 3year Diploma in Health, Business, Architectural or Engineering Technology or as acceptable by the hospital
- Project Management Certificate, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, Accredited Professional (LEED AP) preferred
- Minimum two (2) years recent, project related experience preferably in a health care setting
- Advanced communication skills both written and verbal
- Proficient planning and evaluation skills
- Proficient facilitation skills including consensus building and problem solving
- Demonstrated proficient project management, resource planning and performance measurement skills
- Advanced interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated change management, financial management and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of local and regional health care system
- Demonstrated proficient computer skills using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Demonstrated ability to build collaborative partnerships
- Proficient ability to problem solve and make decisions
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to change
- Advanced organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated commitment to the principles of patient and family centered care
- Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to patient and staff safety
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC's Vision, Purpose, and Values
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
Immunization Requirements:
Before beginning employment at LHSC, all new hires will be required to:
- Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/ Diphtheria/Polio; Meningitis;
- Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing (two step);
- Provide proof of Health Canadaapproved COVID19 vaccination reflective of Ontario Health's current definition of being fully vaccinated
