If you are interested in the insurance and financial products and services distribution sector, this is an opportunity you shouldn't miss The Compliance department that oversees the distribution networks of iA's individual financial products and services is looking for its next analyst to join its team of friendly and experienced professionals.

Here is what your daily routine could look like:

  • Monitor the decisions made by Canadian regulators and other authorities against intermediaries under contracts with iA.
  • Actively participate in implementing compliance measures for distribution networks under the responsibility of the Compliance department.
  • Conduct legislative and regulatory research on various topics related to financial products and services distribution (e.g., premium discounts, sales outside the certification jurisdiction, representations, etc.).
  • Assist various resources in the Compliance department in responding to distributionrelated questions or participating in the preparation of training, presentations, announcements, memos, or others.
  • Accompany and support advisors and analysts in the effective management of various processes under their responsibility (e.g., investigation of advisors' sales practices and processing of complaints).
  • Support the Compliance department technician in their tasks, including processing requests for information from Canadian regulators.

If you have the following qualifications, you could be the person we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law or another relevant field.
  • Good writing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated diligence and intellectual curiosity, as well as discretion.
  • Knowledge of the insurance and financial products and services distribution domain (an asset).
  • Excellent French and English language skills (oral and written), as frequent interactions with internal English and Frenchspeaking colleagues or partners throughout Canada are necessary.
