Description

Responsibilities:

Prepare, key in, edit invoices, data entry, freight management, daily delivery arrangement,

introduce products to customer

Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems

Determine and establish office procedures

May supervise and train office staff in procedures and in use of current software

Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary

Perform receptionist duties:
greet visitors, and answer and direct phone calls, direct visitors

May perform other office duties as per the company's requirements;


Requirements:

Detail oriented self-starter with a high level of organizational skills.

Self-motivated & goes above and beyond their day-to-day duties

multi-tasking and time management skills required.

Ability to work both as part of a team and independently in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese both verbal and written;
Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met;
Handle complains, maintenance requests and other concerns;
Important - Spoken languages - Chinese and English;
Advanced Microsoft office skills including Excel, QuickBooks, Word;
Experience in an office assistant role preferred

*wage base on work experience


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$18.00-$28.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • North York, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:


  • Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
  • Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
