Description
BIMM is booming, so we're looking for a
Product Manager to join our team.

Who we are

For over 40 years, we've crafted flawless data driven creative solutions for some of the biggest brands in Canada and across the globe.

Everything we do is guided by a simple philosophy:
marketing with greater certainty. We love creating amazing integrated brand experiences for our clients that deliver real business results.

We all act as one unit and believe in "having every BIMMER's back". Nice people only. Egos need not apply.

Who we're looking for
You are passionate about amazing digital experiences, and constantly look to make those experiences better.

Yes, you're judgy about every app you use and website you visit, and your friends and family don't understand why it bugs you so much.

You have been an integral part of conceptualizing, validating, and building a great product, either top to bottom, or certain features at a time, and you understand the importance of converting qual and quant data into winning digital experiences.

You challenge stakeholders, developers and designers to push the limits of the technology and user experience to delight the user at every swipe.

Responsibilities

  • Set priorities with the dev/design team, working closely with the scrum master to build a backlog and ensure that userstories are appropriately sized and clearly written.
  • Lead quarterly digital strategy planning with client PO, deriving a strategic backlog for the team to execute on.
  • Be the point of contact with our client stakeholders, understanding the 'why' behind their business strategy and translating it into an actionable product strategy for your team.
  • Bring a 'product mentality' to the table, going beyond the scope of the project and thinking about the longterm viability and growth of the products and features you take to market.
  • Overcommunicate all day, every day. Keep your team aligned to the client needs, keep the client informed of the daily challenge and progress, understand blockers and be relentless in helping them get over roadblocks.
  • Bring a sense of urgency to the tasks at hand, driving progress at a rapid pace that respects process but prioritizes traction. Deeply understanding requirements and keeping teams aligned to the vision, being ruthless about prioritization, and keeping the team focused.
  • Conduct workshops with vastly different stakeholders, pushing for internal alignment with the client before committing to scope.
  • Leverage a working knowledge of supporting architecture, thinking beyond the frontend and asking difficult questions about where data lives, how it moves, and what are the business processes behind the front end user experience.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Product Management role
  • Ability to demonstrate tangible examples of products or features deployed in market
