The Dockside Restaurant in the Granville Island Hotel Voted Best Patio in Vancouver 7 years in a row is looking for the right individuals to join our Office Manager.

You'll get the chance to work outside in the sun, serve some of the most amazing food and cocktails that Granville Island has to offer.

This position is fast paced, exciting and never a dull moment when you have the best view around.

Job Types:
Full-time

Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

Salary:
$20-25 per hour

Responsibilities

Maintain professional correspondence between suppliers and customers.
Process invoices
Data Entry
Menu design
Employee Files
On-Boarding
Catering contracts and BEOs
Maintain organized filing systems.
Cash out and tip distribution

Soft Skills

Solid organizational and multitasking skills
Strong interpersonal and time management skills
Ability to identify and proactively solve problems
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Fluent in English, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of office management, administrative or assistant experience
Completion of a Business Administration course is an asset.
Knowledge of accounting, data, and administrative management practices and procedures
Knowledge of clerical practices and procedures
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Experience with accounting software, i.e., Property Manager, Squirrel, Microsoft Office

Salary:
$20.00-$25.00 per hour
