Responsibilities:


  • Provide structure, consolidation, and analysis of financial data. Assignments are aided by established procedures, practices, and senior department/team members.
  • Prepare monthly financial analysis and reports on a timely basis, including applicable accruals and adjustments, ensuring completeness, internal consistency, and conformance with ISMC's accounting standards.
  • Use models, historic trends, and factors to lead in the development of plan and forecast preparation, including strategic direction, cost saving initiatives and human resource impacts within area of responsibility.
  • Provide guidance and decision making on financial processes to delivery managers and contract teams.
  • Preparation of ad hoc financial analysis, and other assigned duties.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration/commerce majoring in Finance or Accounting.
  • Actively pursuing accounting designation (CPA) and 35 years of progressively responsible experience in accounting and finance.
  • Indepth knowledge of accounting principles and practices and regulations with demonstrated analytical analysis of financial statements.
  • Strong Computer skills specifically with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Advanced knowledge of desktop analytical, query, and spreadsheet tools to rapidly develop financial reports, analysis, and indepth return on investment analysis.
  • Strong communication skills to communicate clear, concise, and informative reports and messages, to accurately exchange data and information with peers and managers.
  • Knowledge of accounting relationships and ability to interpret the impact of accruals, deferrals, and reserves.
  • Experience with SAP would be an added advantage.
