    THE OPPORTUNITY – Marketing Assistant, Canada Summer Jobs

    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    • Responsible for assisting the team in implementing the strategic direction
    • Supporting the Manager in day to day communication activities consistent with Vecova's vision, mission, values and guiding principles
    • Assisting with the maintenance of database systems, blog platforms, social media accounts and website
    • Assisting in the creation and design of promotional material, coordinating social media sites and production of organizational brochures and reports.
    • Promote and Represent Vecova through relevant networks and community initiatives.
    • Assist in the creation of Vecova's Annual Report.
    • Perform other marketing duties as assigned.

    WHAT YOU BRING

    We are looking to engage team members with diverse skills, experiences and interests. These are some of the competencies and credentials we are looking for:

    • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Advertising and Marketing Communications or a related discipline
    • Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools.
    • Should have knowledge of recognizing data trends and analyzing charts and graphs
    • Time management and good communication with the ability to work with clients, coworkers, and managers.
    • Suitable for youth from years of age at the start of employment
    • Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment.
    • Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation.
    • Demonstrate a high standard of professionalism aligned with Vecova values
    • Maintain a positive working relationship with all Vecova team members
    • Represent Vecova in a professional manner
    • Demonstrate a high level of initiative and enthusiasm
    • Maintain confidentiality at all times
    • Demonstrate a high level of administrative and IT capacity.
