Responsibilities

  • Operate as the lead point of contact for all matters related to any assigned customer accounts.
  • Exhibit a professional and wellmaintained relationship with customers to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor customer trends to ensure understanding on purchasing or pattern changes.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and coordinate with field or inhouse sales representatives for new business opportunities with new or existing customers.
  • Work as a liaison with the customer support team and product development department to improve the entire customer experience.
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territories.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of customer orders by coordinating with our production scheduling and shipping department.
  • Customer orders processing includes, but is not limited to the following:
  • Review work/production order, including special instructions
  • Make inquiries about products and follow up with appropriate personnel immediately
  • Ensure that all customers are issued Order Acknowledgments
  • Ensure that all customer accounts have had no changes or alternations. All changes in customer accounts should be reported to Management when appropriate to do so.
  • Ensure that customers accounts are maintained according to the appropriate current correspondence records
  • Generate price quotations and, obtain approval by Management when necessary as applicable
  • Generate or prepare templates if required
  • Responsible to complete forms when necessary, but it is not limited to the following:
  • Incident Reports
  • Return Good Authorization
  • Shipping/Pick Up Request Form
  • Assist with challenging client request or issue escalations as needed
  • Update job knowledge by participating in product training
  • Provide market intelligence regarding competitors and price increases
  • Prepare reports on account status monthly

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel and Power Point.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to create spreadsheets and word processing of documents such as reports, memos, letters, etc.
  • Ability to perform projects with a high level of accuracy (i.e. entering and processing information)
  • Ability to effectively time manage projects.
