    Major Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Financial Analysis:

    • Conduct in-depth variance analysis of operational costs, providing detailed explanations for performance discrepancies to support decision-making and cost optimization efforts.
    • Clear accounts receivable monthly and analyze facility and maintenance costs to identify areas for efficiency improvements and cost-saving initiatives.

    2. Inventory Management:

    • Generate monthly inventory reports and conduct ad-hoc analyses to assess inventory levels, trends, and potential risks or opportunities.
    • Work closely with inventory management teams to develop strategies for optimizing inventory turnover and minimizing carrying costs.

    3. Operational Performance Monitoring:

    • Develop and report on monthly operational KPIs for plant managers and supervisors, providing insights into production efficiency, resource utilization, and overall operational performance.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement action plans to drive operational excellence.

    4. Month-end Accounting Tasks:

    • Handle month-end accounting tasks, including journal entries, accruals, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in accordance with GAAP and company policies.

    5. Inventory Control and Benchmarking:

    • Conduct quarterly inventory counts and industry benchmarking analyses to evaluate inventory control processes, identify areas for enhancement, and benchmark performance against industry standards.

    6. Audit Support and Compliance:

    • Support interim and year-end audit requests, providing necessary documentation and analysis to auditors, and ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and accounting standards.
    • Assist in researching legislative requirements, internal policies, and audit standards to maintain compliance and update financial policies, procedures, and processes as needed.

    7. Data Integrity and Reconciliation:

    • Maintain data integrity within financial records and systems, conducting regular reconciliations and data cleansing activities to ensure accuracy and reliability of financial information.
    • Work collaboratively with Integration & IT teams to ensure proper data migration and configuration of ERP finance and procurement modules.
