This position is based in a busy Contact Center providing front-line customer service via telephone to the public and various stakeholders including Insurance Corporation of BC (ICBC), Driver Licensing Offices, members of the policing community as well as physicians and medical office assistants.
Additionally, the Intake Agent independently reviews, evaluates, and administers medical and remedial documents/information to provide prompt and accurate information in an adversarial and complex environment regarding Driver Medical Fitness and Remedial Programs including the Responsible Driver, Ignition Interlock and Driver Improvement Programs.
In addition, Client Services is responsible for providing general RoadSafetyBC program education/information regarding Vehicle Impoundments, Administrative Driving Prohibitions, Immediate Roadside Prohibitions, and 24-Hour Prohibitions.
Job Requirements:
- Grade 12 graduation or equivalent (i.e., GED) plus experience working in an environment that requires the use of effective communication and conflict resolution skills.
- 1 year experience providing client service in an adversarial environment dealing with the diversified public.
- 1 year experience working in a highvolume processing environment, entering data in various computer software programs.
