What can I expect to do in this role?:

  • You will lead multi-disciplinary teams composed of diverse interests and establish effective working relationships with government agencies and external stakeholders
  • You will facilitate coordination of provincial and federal projects
  • You will participate in developing environmental assessment policies, standards, and guidelines
  • You will ensure compliance with statutory requirements
  • You will track performance in achieving work plan targets

How do I qualify?:


Environmental Knowledge:


  • You have knowledge of emerging environmental trends and issues

Communication and Consultation Skills:


  • You present technical information in a way that is easy to understand
  • You communicate clearly and concisely
  • You work well with all levels of staff and clients
  • You can develop a variety of written products (e.g. project plans, reports, correspondence)
  • You have consultation and mediation skills to effectively move projects forward
  • You have knowledge of Indigenous consultation and government's Duty to Consult responsibilities
  • You understand consultation theories and practices to resolve issues in an effective manner

Project Management and Organizational Skills:


  • You have proven project management experience
  • You have demonstrated work experience in identifying issues, developing options, making recommendations and resolving issues
  • You have demonstrated ability to organize and plan effectively to ensure deliverables are met in a timely fashion
