In this role, you will have the exciting opportunityto own and expand our video podcast series, What I Wish I Knew.
You willalso be instrumental in scripting and storyboarding our videos and eventmaterials (including executive presentations).As a member of the contentmarketing team, you will also be responsible for sourcing and producingvarious types of original content across marketing channels to enhancebrand awareness, generate demand, and drive inbound leads.
What you'll do:
Responsible for the management (scheduling, creation, distribution,optimization) of our video podcast series. Script and storyboard videos, including promotions, customer stories,and expert interviews, for use across marketing channels (social, website,advertising, events). Create content for our target audience/personas that aligns with eachstage of the buyer's journey.
Collaborate with the digital marketing and product marketing teams todevelop compelling ad copy, emails, landing page and website copy, as wellas recommend content that is relevant for our target audiences.
Leverage feedback and data results to identify content &communications that are effective or not effective and suggest analternative approach or asset.
Identify and run A/B tests to understand the most effective content forour target audiences.Collaborate with Content Strategist to create social media copy thatresonates with our audience and builds audience for video podcast series.
Work closely with product marketing team to embed company messaging,thought leadership, and point of view into content. Assist with agenda and speaker scripts for large-scale events, such asAccelerate. Ensure message consistency and adherence to corporate style andbranding guidelines.What you'll bring to Varicent:
5+ years of experience in content creation and copy writing.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and incorporating into content. Experience managing the creation of content, from ideation toexecution. Emphasis on video content Passion for creating compelling stories.
Project management skills and experience. College/university degree in journalism, marketing communications,English or relevant field. High level of interpersonal and organizational skills, with excellentcommunication skills. Ability to work professionally with team members at varying levels ofthe organization, as well as external clients and partners.
