- Develop and implement a key client business plan.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
- Lead a Client Engagement Team (CET) to understand client needs comprehensively.
- Participate in internal and external forums.
- Mentor and develop business development leaders.
- Act as a client representative at Tender Review Groups (TRGs).
- Cultivate client relationships to generate opportunities and win work.
- Act as the external client advocate and resolve issues.
- Promote GHD's services to clients and facilitate internal communication.
- Provide guidance to bid and project delivery teams based on client preferences.
- Position GHD for future opportunities and lead strategic pursuits.
- Understand IO procurement processes and sustainability requirements.
- Oversee a portfolio of projects, collaborating with clients and internal teams.
- Ensure project alignment with sustainability strategies and ESG requirements.
- Facilitate communication and project deliverables alignment.
- Minimum 10 years' experience leading large multi-disciplinary projects with consistent market growth.
- Experience working with Infrastructure Ontario and similar government entities.
- Experience with construction or construction cost estimating is an asset.
- Strong business acumen and commercial skills, including exceptional client experience.
- Experience with multiple construction contract delivery methods and the commercial management of those contracts.
- Understanding of corporate strategic planning and successful strategy implementation.
- Familiarity with the Social Infrastructure Market in Ontario and Canada.
- Knowledge of provincial and federal regulations impacting infrastructure development.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and agility.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

Who are we looking for?
The Infrastructure Ontario (IO) Relationship Manager (RM) will play a critical role in aligning strategic market growth objectives with executable programs centered around Growth, Client Experience and Winning Work through compelling business intelligence, a strong culture of accountability and connection between various teams at GHD. This will include discovery and qualification efforts for long lead priority pursuits, and the mobilization of Winning Work teams in collaboration with Market Leadership to drive client service excellence.
As the Infrastructure Ontario Relationship Manager, you will facilitate and influence a Client Engagement Team (CET) to drive a matrix of relationships and services across the client organization and internally within GHD. Your goal is to connect the potential across GHD and introduce the client to our full breadth of services to meet their needs. Strong relationships with the client and the achievement of GHD's revenue and profitability targets will be your measures of success.
