Marsh Canada is seeking a National Transportation Practice Leader to create and drive strategy and lead the team to achieve existing business and growth goals.

A known thought leader in the industry, you will be the face of Marsh Transportation across Canada.

We will count on you to:

  • Develop the account expansion strategy for the Transportation industry and direct market research, event coordination, and resource allocation accordingly.
  • Control resources and ensure the most strategic account ownership strategy, personally taking on highrisk, highyield accounts and assigning accounts to advanced sales professionals as appropriate.
  • Direct and oversee the execution of the marketing strategy for the industry and/or region to best and appropriately position the firm and the solution and product offerings in the market and to enable the desired growth.
  • Determine objectives for and advise on the development of custom solutions for major accounts and ensure optimal pricing for account scope and yield expectations.
  • Manage the human capital strategy, resource allocation, and talent acquisition to create a high performing team.

What you need to have:


  • A strong track record of success in the Canadian Transportation market
  • 15 + years experience in the Insurance Industry
  • Experience working with, and managing, large, complex, national accounts
