    Description

    Job Title: Senior BI Reporting Developer

    Location: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid)

    Duration: 12+ Months

    Qualifications:


    • Strong communication and problem-solving skills


    • Overall experience of 8+ years on reporting application stack.


    • Ability to work with business users to gather business requirements


    • 7+ years of PL/SQL queries and advanced performance tuning


    • 5+ years of hands-on experience in - Micro strategy (must have) and another BI tool Tableau


    • Good with Unix commands and shell scripting.


    • Excellent in agile methodologies, processes, and best practices along with a strong understanding of current application development technology


    • Ability to work independently.


    • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum work environment.


    • Experience working in a large data warehouse and understand data models


    • Experience in data pipelines


    • Innovative ideas and a can-do attitude


    • Experience using Jira, CI/CD, Confluence

    Education:


    • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience in computer sciences, engineering, math/statistics

    Good to Have:


    • Experience using Python.


    • Understanding of trading business


    • Investment banking experience


    • Working knowledge of Linux or Java
